Nava remembers the aswang in flashes of fire and blood - a shadow looming over her, and teeth sinking into her neck. When Nava picked up her sister's bloody bolo in the ruins of her family home, she knew that one day, she would have to face the terror once more. That day finally arrived when the parents of a missing boy begged her to find their son.
As far as the Americans and constables were concerned, Lucas wandered into the deep jungle and never returned. But Filipinos know better about the dark places hidden across their land, and the horrors that lurk within.
Aswangs have terrorized them for generations, and Nava is one of the few who knows how to fight them - at least, she hopes.Nava was just a young girl when she first came face to face with one.And she was helpless to stop it.
This is not her first hunt, but still, the scar on her neck itches when that bloodthirsty monster haunts her thoughts. But Nava knows that only until she vanquishes her fears will her nightmares finally end.Nava must find the boy, or die trying.

It is the year 1889: a little girl named Nava is living a peaceful life with her family among the rolling hills and the mountainous rice terraces of Iruña. But lurking in the shadow of these mountains is a creature from Philippine legend, a bloodthirsty monster called the aswang.
Little Nava has always been afraid of the dark. But when night falls, and the pale white moon rises over Iruña, Nava's fear of the unknown will be the least of her worries, for this is the hour that the aswang's hunt begins.
Nava, a scared but courageous girl, may muster the will to face her fears... but she must also face the terror lurking in the darkness, a terror that will haunt her to the end of her days.
When an aswang tears her family apart, Nava is forced onto a violent path where she will face her foe once more to settle a bloody score. This is the story of Nava, a monster huntress, and her quest to slay the aswang... once and for all.

Borg Sinaban is an award-winning illustrator and comic artist based in Manila. He has worked with both local and international clients, most notably; Adarna House Publishing, BOOM! Azam Raharjo is an Indonesian comic artist, who features cosmic horror themes in his work heavily. Azam's debut work is Radio Algeria (2018-2020), which was serialized on Webtoon Indonesia.
Azam later wrote and illustrated the acclaimed short comic, The Consultant (2022), and later, Someone Died Here (2023), both of which were featured in the Shortbox Comics Fair. He also created The Clown as part of Hello Darkness #2 anthology (Boom! Studios) and recently Nirmaya (VIZ Media.)

Micah has worked on comics for DC, Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Mad Cave, ComiXology, Webtoons, and many more.Micah has lettered on many critically acclaimed books including multiple stories in the Eisner-winning anthology, Puerto Rico Strong. In 2021, ’23, and '24, he was nominated for the Ringo Award for Lettering. He also created his own comic about D-List supervillains, The Disasters.
